Massey Energy Storage is a utility-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) proposed in the City of Baytown that will provide significant benefits to the local community.
Over the 20-year lifespan of the project, Massey Storage is estimated to contribute more than $10.6 million in property tax revenue, including $4.5 million for the Goose Creek CISD and almost $3 million for the city of Baytown, supporting local education and public services.

Massey Storage will transform vacant land into a functional energy storage facility to enhance grid reliability in Baytown. The facility will incorporate low-maintenance vegetation to support biodiversity and efficiently store energy from various sources to ensure reliable power delivery and community sustainability.
